I want to get a copy of my ignition key.. just in case anything ever happends to mine. So I was wondering, does anyone know around how much it might cost me to get it? Obviously I can't just go get one made because of the security thing but I was told I can get a blank from a dealership, and then have one made.. Does anybody know how much it might cost to either get a blank or have one made?

 

Keys run $30 to $50 from GM dealer.
