Default I need to buy a belt for this BOSCH steering gear for CAMARO 3.6 from 2016.

Hello,

I need to buy a belt for this BOSCH steering gear for CAMARO VI 3.6 from 2016. Where to ask, look for ?
My car was parked in the garden for a long time and the screws broke due to corrosion from the steering gear motor, and this caused the belt to wear/tighten and now it skips/slips.

can anyone help ?

thank you in advance!

I'm not familiar with your later gen car,is this an OEM part, why are you having trouble finding one?
I would think the dealer if nothing else.
NAPA can't help?

So far I can't get this belt anywhere. You can easily buy one for the 12-15 model year for about $50, but I haven't seen it anywhere since 2016. If I knew the dimensions of this belt, I might buy a replacement. Someone somewhere produces these belts. And the steering gear itself was certainly installed in other cars, not only in the Camaro

Well then what I'd suggest is to take the belt with you to a parts store like NAPA and see if they can find a match for it and if not maybe steer you to someplace that might.
Good luck.

I talked to the mechanic today and I have an appointment for January 3 to try to remove the belt. He is afraid that he may not be able to remove the belt at all. That it is simply not replaceable and that is why it is not for sale.

I'm sorry for my English, but I'm writing from Poland and I translate everything in Google Translator
