How to remove the door panel on a 92.
Well, one thing always leads to another. And having a broken door handle leads to taking off the panel to get to them. We got the driver side one off, SOMEHOW, i dont know how but we did. Now when it comes to the passenger side. Were clueless. The dirver side involved alot of pulling then...off. I dont think its broken, just that it came off in which ever way it did. What I would like to know is, what is the CORRECT way to do this?

RE: How to remove the door panel on a 92.
I was typing out a lenghty directions when crAOLp lost conection and said to check the conection to my computer but I did not and logged back on and it worked. So it must not have been the connection to my comuter as usual. Now i am tired and don't wanna go through it again.
Just unbolt stuff. Remove the arm rest and the black trim panel. Wathc for the fake plastic torx or you just strip them and then they look bad. Have the window down because it helps make it easier when you pop the panel off at the top. Pull out on the bottom of the door panel when all the clips are released from the door and tap in an upward motion on the top pastic part and that will release it from the top of the door and away it goes.

When I took mine off I popped out the bottom first and then made sure there were no bolts holding anything down and lifted the back end first (by the door handle) and pushed the pannel foward and then lifted. It cleared the door lock and came out easier for me. Be careful putting the pannel back in because the door lock seems to be the hardest to line up. I bent the rod that operates the door lock and now my lock wont open with the switch. Good luck!!
