Default Help with my smoke signals please!

So I've never had blue smoke come out the exhaust until today.

I was trying to drive it up on a couple of pieces of wood(2 2x6's stacked each side) to give me more room to get my jack under. Well this time I didn't even try to get a moving start and just put the wood in front of the wheels. I guess it was a pretty steep step for the tires to try and climb, cus she wouldn't go up. My RPM's went up pretty high and I saw some blue smoke out the back. I tried to make it smoke again by just revving it in neutral, but not a even a hint of smoke this time. What does this indicate? I think the proper way to describe this is "Blue smoke under load" right?

Even on the road, when I really give'r, I don't notice blue smoke (maybe because of my tinted rear window?).

What's going on here, something to worry about?

Were you spinning the tires? Blue smoke is oil burning.

Valve seals could be leaking or it could be getting past the piston rings. Do you have to add oil that often?

It is oil, the dodge is notorious for it, if it just did it that one time it could be becuase it was under a load. Most vehicals burn oil, that is depending on how you drive them ;-)

It was under load as I was trying to push it up on the blocks.....so I'm hoping thats all it was cus I've never seen it before. But it was quite the cloud of smoke so it has me worried. No other idicators of blowby or oil consumption

I would just keep an eye on your oil level. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I forgot to mention that I just replaced the PCV, and I dropped it before putting it in. Could a new PCV, or a broken one cause this?

Also the oil is quite old, not many miles on it, just old.
