1986 Camaro.......Rear hatch motor mount broke. Motor would not stop running however it released the hatch. I repaired motor mount. I re-mount everything and when the hatch is engaged it will pull down the hatch but the motor won't stop running. Also it seems the reversing switch isn't working however I replaced it with another switch I have and it still doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas ?? Sure would appreciate any help.

 

must be a relay there somewhere.

 

The relay was the first thing I replaced.

 

make sure the little back switch is in the down position when reassembling. and make sure the thingy that flips is goes all the way down or itll never turn it off.
