Default FUEL INJECTON HELP

I NEED HELP. I HAVE 1988 IROCZ TPI AND I AM CHANGING IT TO CARB. I WAS WONDERING WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT THE FUEL BECAUSE CARB ONLY NEEDS 5 LBS OF FUEL PRESSURE. SHOULD I REPLACE THE LINES AND TAKE OUT THE FUEL PUMP AND JUST DROP A LINE INTO THE TANK OR SHOULD I JUST KEEP THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP BLOCK THE RETURN LINE AND USE A REGULATOR TO BRING THE FUEL PRESSURE DOWN? PLEASE HELP. TELL ME THE CHEAPEST EASIEST WAY TO DO THIS.
THANKS,
BOB

Default RE: FUEL INJECTON HELP

you can't use just a pressure regulator. the fuel pump pressure is too high. it will pressure lock a standard regulator. you have to get a regulator that has a return built in. if you want my opinion. i would get another tank that was designed for a mechanical pump. thats just my opinion tho. many people use the regulator that has a return and claim to have no problems. the regulator is the easest way to go. not sure if it's the cheapest. i haven't priced return type regulators. good luck. sick
