Default Front wheels

My problem now is something to do with some kind of bar. My steering wheel isn't positioned right. So when we were getting it fixed, the mechanic said the steering wheel only goes on one way so that's not the problem. He also checked the rack andpinion was fine. He said it is some other kind of bar that hasis bent. Also when we looked at the front wheels, one of the wheels had excessive ware on the inside which proves that so kind of bar IS bent. If you have any idea what it might be, please tell me and tell me what it is called and how it might have happened.

There are so many suspension/steering parts that it could be. Struts, steering linkage etc etc, you should probably see if you can either get some pics of the suspension from under the car or talk to your mechanic to see if you can't get a more technical description of the issue. Are you sure the alignment isn't off? That will cause the car to pull and cause wear on the tires etc. Just a thought. See what you can do to get us some more details.

There is not much there but the "bars" that come out of the rack and the tie rod ends on each of those. They can get bent when bumped. Or your lower control arm but they atre pretty sturdy. were you in an accident or did you curb it???

Im getting the alignment checked in a few days. We haven't been in a crash and the Carfax said that there was no crashes. We did curb it yesterday but this has been a problem since the day we bought it.

Yep, the alignment was off but something is twisted but it is still good.
