Default foam intake filter or stock filter

This intake came with a foam filter. are there any differences between the stock filters and the foam filter? Foam filter looks kinda restrictive...

what type of foam? do you mean similar to styrofoam or more like that soft pourous foam that is found in some vacuum cleaner filters (similar to the look of beer froth, theme of the night right?)

i was just messin w you. I dont really trust those things. they usually allow good flow but really dont clean much. I would look for a K&N cone filter that will fit your intake. there is a reason that company is so large. they make good stuff

Yeah, i would need to get the GS-T motor because i dont want to do the GSX conversion to AWD The computer, tranny.. the whole package... and even tho i can get alot of that stuff from the junk yard and replace or rebuild parts as necessary its still not worth it for 180-190hp... I mean the car may only weigh alil over 2561 but still its too much time and money for this car when i could save and buy that LS1 ive always wanted.
