We have a '01 with V-6. When in heavy rain the brakes quit working. They work fine in regular conditions. It's my daughters car and I've been driving it sense she told me about problem. I've driven it in rain and it hasn't happened to me yet.

 

it could be moisture in the connecter . my last car did that . the abs light would come on in rainy weather .
