Default exhaust repair

ok so i have a ticking noise. ive ruled out it being under the rocker arm cover... its the exhaust mainfold on the right side. question is before i actually start working on it, is there some sort filler or wrap i could use instead of replacing...? i visited my local auto parts store beacuse my exhaust pipe after the cat snapped ( dont have the money for whole new exhaust from engine-back) so i happened to look at all their exhaust repair crap. The highest that i saw any product rated was for 300F and i know the manifold reaches waaay extremer temps than that... at the time i dont have alot of money for a new manifold but id like to look at some and prices so if anyone could list a site or give some info on that also. i guess ill check ebay or recycler nad the sort too. thanks for the help.

You could leave it be...LOL. But seriously, if you can't afford to fix it properly now and plan on doing it later, weld it together again. It wont last forever but probably long enough for you to save up for a new system. Just go around the pipes with a wire brush grinder head and weld it together. If you can't weld it together yourself (can't weld, don't have a welder etc.) take it to a friend or any muffler shop. If the muffler shop you take it to wont do it...try another. Hope that helps.
