Post Exhaust Manifold Repair Leak
Anyone have exhaust manifold gasket repair procedures (torq. spec.).

Remove exhaust manifold. Replace Gasket. Reinstall exhaust manifold.

Get some PB penetrating oil and spray the manifold bolts at the heads and also at the connection to the Y tube. Let it sit a couple hours and it will save you that much time or more trying to get the bolts loose.

which gasket are u talking about. the manifold to motor gasket or the manifold to exhaust pipe gasket/donut.

I was referring to the manifold to engine block gasket. My reference to the procedures was to confirm the torque spec for my V6 regarding the bolts which secure the exhaust manifold to the heads.

does not show a order of tightening but 18 ft lbs for the exhaust manifold bolts. if u need a break down on the way the other stuff goes on i can get a pic up for ya. this is for a 93 3.4 camaro vin code s.
