is the egr valve necessary to have on my manifold. down the road id like to change a few things on my engine. and um, get rid of all the stuff i dont need. the egr valve posed a prob and became quite the nuisance when i attempted to change my carb.

nope, never gotten a smog inspection for a car before. dont think we do them in virginia. ill ask my dad. hes been here for more the 20 years i have lol .he should know. i want to change the manifold and put a performance carb on it. but not now, somewhere down the road.
