Differential Howling
My 97 Z28 is eating my differential.
I replaced the stock GM diff a couple years ago w/ 410s.
The stock diff was makin all sorts of howling noises when i turned.
Now my 410s are makin the same howling noise when i turn.
I don't want to replace the gears AGAIN.
Not sure why this is happening. I'm not doing brakestands all the time... no really! haha.
I have an aluminum AAM diff cover and some heavy duty oil in there and it still howls when the gears heat up.
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
do the gears need adjusting? any suggestions?
thanks.

what about your clutches? if your popping the clutch that is the reason for the premature rearend wear. the 7.5 and 7.62 won't take alot of abuse without the tale tale signs of wear. (especially on posi carriers ) peg leggers put very little strain on the rearend. if you must roast them manup and break out the wallet. you can get used gears on ebay for a fraction of the cost of new. sick
