Default Cylinder Heads

What other Stock Cylinder Heads would I be able to put on my 91 camaro RS? (what other kind of cars are campatible with my engine). I dont really want to go all out and go and buy some 1,000 dollor cylinder heads when I can still add some more horses by putting another cars cylinder heads. Tell me I'm dumn but I like it cheaper but still adding more horses. If Im wrong just tell me whats the cheapest and best cylinder heads I can get. Also what process do I need to do in order to completely get rid of my TBI and convert into Holley Carb and Intake. I've heard different things but I need a No BS answer so I can get this joker done and take her to the track in the next couple of weeks. Im not shooting to run 10sec but 13-14 sec 1/4 mile is suffient for me for the time being.

I was looking at 305 heads for a 350 because of the small combustion chamber what I found was the 305 heads you should have are 58cc but are swirl port which are not disirable as others. Some of the older heads flow better but either have much larger chambers which would kill your compression or the older heads with smaller chambers dont have accessory bolt holes. There is also a issue with valve shrouding with bigger valves in the 305. Basically the better factory head choice is the L31(350 truck)vortecs and I believe they also suggest running the lt1 camshaft, for the carb set up you will need a vortech manifold the manifold is specific to vortec heads. Not sure what you would need to address with the computor though.
See what gear ratio you have in the car now if it is a low ratio you will benifit greatly from a ratio change on the track.

thanks man I'll look that up. I saw a 350 vortec cylinder heads for 500 on ebay brand new but Ill look around in the area here and see what I can find. Thanks. The carb will have to wait for the time being but I'm replacing my head gasket now to fix the problem I'm having now and while I'm at it I'll slap on the L31's and see what happends from there and how much I increase from that. Also, when I bout the car the guy told me that the fuel gauge was working but its not..lol.. I think that when they put the inline fuel pump that it stop working since they did that according to other forums that I've read. I'm not sure what to do but its frustrating not knowing how much fuel I got in my tank. Is there a easy fix for this or am I just screwed.

If you are not going to carb at the same time check and make sure the TBI manifold will match up to the vortec heads.
