Cooling problem

you need to see if you can manually get the fans to come on with a jumper.
Like stated earlier. Don't by a motor till you now yours are bad.

thermostat could be stuck open. i know if i sit too long my car will overheat because thats what happen in mine. or you could have a clog in the system. how long has it been since its had a coolant flush?

like the guys arrr saying, test the fans by running a hot wire to em. if they work then you know its in the system. could also start her up and turn on the ac and get the test light out to see if the fans are getting power at the plug. you can test the temp sensor fairly easily. shbox has the ohm to temp chart in the how to section. and one last question,,, are you seeing any water in the oil (oil will look milky) or oil in the coolant. also take the oil fill cap off and turn it over to see if theres some drops of water or a lite colored layer of slime.

The problem turned out to be the BCM went bad and was causing the fan problem along with some others. We did by pass the temp sensor and the fans did turn on
