Default coolent/oil problem maybe i dunno lol

on my Z.... i looked at the underside of the oil cap and there was a little water??? but it wasnt green, it was clear... now the water pumps shot and it hasnt been started in 2 months, and it is like 15 deg. outside. im thinking condinsation???? i dunno though... also i changed the oil right after that and it was black, not foamy or watery ... so that might be a good thing??????

That is probably condensation due to cold weather, and the engine not getting hot enough or running long enough to boil the moisture off. Especially if you are using a low temp thermostat.

no worries for you, but you say your pump is shot too?

might be obvious to you, but you do have coolant? and not just water in your system right? with that cold you're talking about, if you don't have enough cooloant in your system you can ruin your block
