Default carb tuning help

i have a 750 edelbrock mechanical choke on a zz4 350. right off of idle it is running extremely rich. i just got a calibration kit for it and i tuned it fairly well for my new cam, but i cannot figure out the off idle studder. any idea how to lean out the low end? thanks.
