Well hello again camaro lovers! awile back i posted that my 91 rs 305tbi just quit while driving! and we determined it was the ignition control module, which did make it run again and reasonably well! for a couple weeks now she back to running like crap again, showed no check engine light at first! but now has a code 42 and 53, i replaced the map sensor, and new hei distributor and coil, egr valve, and O2 sensor, now the code 42 says it is the electronic spark control circuit, located on the drivers side firewall, she fires right up but idles rough and is dumping fuel out the exhaust, i have not checked the knock sensor, or the crankshaft timing sensor, but the way its going! its like dominoes push 1 and they all will drop. If i got another ECM out of 89 or 91 camaro, with auto trans will it work or should i just PUNT its getting to be a pain in the rear, was a great car for the first year and a half but now she's starting to crumble, if i can get her running good again! she will be up for sale, thanks for letting me vent, and any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks[sm=groupwave.gif]
