can i replace Hydrolic Clutch with a cable

Good luck. You will have to find a different bell housing with a manual clutch fork.

Why do you want to do this? If cable was a good option, the factory would have used it, especially since it is cheaper.

i really dont like the hydrolic clutch systems very well. the car is a auto right now but i am converting to 5 speed soon and i was wondering i f i could just get a cable setup insted of the hydrolic systems. do the older car (82-84 or so) use the cable or hydrolic. i would think cable and if so that means i can use one of those as a doner correct. not trying to stur **** up just asing a simple ?

If you hav a donor car, you should be able to do it.

in 1983 gm started using a hydraulic cluch(dont quote me on the year) also i know the t5s are rotated counter clockwise a little, i have a 80 camaro and tried to convert to a manual clutch with a t5 and needless to say it didnt work and i sold it
