Putting in a cam isn't going to make your car blow up, but what Kurt is trying to convey is that in order for you to get the maximum amount of power out of your new cam you are going to need the common bolt-ons so you can get all the air in and out of the motor that you need and you'll also need a good tune for the computer so the car isn't running rich/lean. It's a good idea to go with bolt-ons before you do anything internal. Once you do somethig internal you need to have your car dyno tuned so it's running right.

thanks slvr camaro dude what were trying to get across to you is that you can NOT put a cam with a profile much different than stock numbers into a computer controlled car with out changing several other items also and then tuning the car for the changes with out causing damage. yes you can swap out stock profile cams as often as u like with out damage to the motor its when you exceed the computers ability to compensate with a non stock cam profile that problems will erupt kurt
