I purchased a drivetrain, LS-1 & 4L60E trans, out of a 99 Indy pace car Camaro. Anybody know what horsepower these engines produce? The seller claimed 425. It is a stock deal but I know that Chevy tweaked these for special editions.

 

i did not think that the pace cars were factory "Tweaked"...

 

sounds like a basic Z28 setup.

 

there is nothing different about the pace cars other than the graffix and interior. and once in a great while the wheels will be a different color.

 

by the way a 4l60E trans would not hold 425 hp, tell the seller to B.S. someone else
