Is is posible for me to put a Corvett engine into my 86 Camaro?

 

[&:] oh its more than possible. camaro and corvette have shared basicly the same powerplant since time began. not a lot is required to be changed if staying within the same vintage its when we try to put the ls1 or lt4 into our older camaros that they require a bit more time and effort. corvette motors were basicly the same externaly just put out a little more power, cant have GM's flagship with less power than the common camaro now can we?? kurt

 

at leat for 4th gens the vettes and camaros have had THE same powerplant, with fbodies dynoing slightly higher due to the solid rear

 

What are you planing to put in what? LSx do not exactly drop into anything early real easy. But say you were going to put one in a third gen, instead of moding the engine X-member Spohn makes a tube one for that kind of swap. And the factory has done their own test mules like a third gen with a ZR-1 motor.
