Default Cam selction problems

Im fixing to do a heads cam package. Im getting dart platinums 195cc and i want to run a h292 comp magnum cam. now the question is...

1) How much will this effect my power disc brakes? ( i have a vacuum reserve canister)
2) should i go with a different cc on the heads

My friend,

Correct me if i'm wrong: you'll use a 292 comp magnum cam. Do you have more information about this cam?

What kind of motor do you have? I need to know becausethis cofiguration maybe cause brake failure. And 195cc isn't too much?

Please give the configuration of your project.

Still need more info, is the bottom end stock, year engine, if not stock what was changed? Do you want to run pump gas? Is it a 4 bolt or two bolt main? What engine hp are you looking for, what are the goals of the build drivability..... mostly race? Not overly crazy about the 700 trans in this set up though. What year is the car?

Well it's gonna be a street strip very wild. Take a look at the suspension system try QA1 shocks or any one because you will have a very strong car.

Brakes: you have to change some itens from brake system. If you run with OEM brakes forget it....Master cylinder, brake kits (front / rear). Dont forget to change the brake line.

I'll look the specifications of the parts that you told me. Don't buy yet, ok

For streetability of your engine you may want to consider a maximum valve lift of .500 and duration not to exceed 280. This combination may yield enough vacuum for your brakes. With 4.10 gears I hope you are using a roller cam and high quality springs for high rpm. 195cc heads will be fine but, what is the chamber volume? Make certain to consider chamber size versus piston compression. Try to keep your effective compression less than 11:1 for all around driving, unless you plan on running racing fuel exclusively.

I think you mean static compression ratio. 11:1 with iron heads might work but it might be close on 93 octane(is domed piston what is quench distance ?)
