Default Caliper Info

Ok, so I pulled the wheel and it looks like the rotor doesnt seat as far back as it should, and that why it rubs on the caliper. I f I push and pull on the hub theres no play, but if I wiggle side to side or up and down there is a significant amount of play. Since I did the bearing, its not unlikely that I screwed it up, but could it be the hub or trailing arm worn and if so could I tell with a visual inspection?thanks
