Default A/C issue cannot find

I have searched several threads cannot find. My car 99 camaro, 3.8, 5sp. Sound kind of weird but when I press on the gas or seam to go uphill, my a/c cuts out. Seams like it directs itself to the floor vents.

Most likely a vacuum leak. The AC air doors are operated by engine vacuum. When the engine is under heavy load, such as going up hill, the engine vacuum drops, and if any leaks are present , the vacuum reservoir will become depleted and vacuum operated things will not work. I am not sure about your car, but some cars are designed to automatically disengage the AC when under heavy load in order to make more power available to the drive wheels.
