Default All kind of issues.

2000 Camaro series 2 3800 V6 Engine transplanted into Mazda truck.

Where do I start.

Here is what I have replaced so far.
Coil packs
Wires
Plugs
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
All Injectors
Cleaned and tested MAF sensor
Cleaned Throttle body assebly
Air temp sensor test good
New ICM

It seems to run fine then all of a sudden it will die or go into some Safe mode where it just idles and you cant throttle it.
Driving me nuts. As for codes I get a whole lot of them due to emission stuff not installed. Fuel pressure and evaporate stuff. I was getting misfire codes but now I am not. Seems to have more of an issue in the afternoon when it is the hottest outside but that could just be a coincidence. Every now and then it does come up with throttle assemble codes but not all the time.

Anyone have any trouble shooting advice or any other tricks to try?
Is there a way to 1 remove the safe mode or 2 convert it back to a cable driven throttle body?
Any help would be awesome
Thanks

If this has the drive by wire system with electronic throttle opener a defect in the circuit will cause it to go in limp mode and create your other symptoms. It is a very common issue on the early gm drive by wire set ups. What is the code you are throwing for the throttle assembly?

I have a friend that had this happen to him but I cant remember what it was excactly. Something with the pedal assembly. Ill find out and let you know.
