I'm considering selling my 97 Camaro RS and buying a 97 Grand Prix GTP, Supercharged. I know it pushes about 40+ hp than my RS but I just wanna know what any of you that have driven/owned a GTP think about their performance... feedback?

 

I personaly wouldnt go from a camaro to a grand prix. Yeah it might be a tad faster with those extra horses but your giving up style for it.

 

I have a 00 grand prix and an 89camaro, and it doesnt get the respect a camaro would, even if its faster. Most people I know look at the GP as a "family car"or a daily driver, not so much as a performance car, even if it is faster.Thats just my experience and opinion. HTH

 

It could also be a good thing that people dont look at it as a performance car.... Cops wont be as attracted to it either.. However if you were interested in the aftermarket, there probably wouldnt be nearly as much of a base for that car as there would be for the Camaro.
