Battery was getting weak on my car and the starter was beginning to drag some so i replaced the battery. Went to start it afterwards and everything lights up as far as the normal lights go but when I completely turn the key nothing happens. The starter wont engage or turn over or anything. I checked most of the obvious such as fuses and grounds that i know to check and still no cranking. Tried jumping the starter and the ac compressor clicks but the motor wont turn over. HOWEVER nothing at all happens when i use the ignition to engage the starter. The security system has been disengaged for a while so i dont think it could be that but then again i dont know. Thats why I am on here buggin Yall lol PLEASE HELP

 

double post,
check for power at the big post, should be hot at all times. the s post is for the ignition (you didnt hook it to the wrong small post did you) and should have power when the key is turned to the start position.
