i have a 91 RS camaro with 305. the other day when i was going home i kinda dogged it a bit when went to gear down in second, let off the clutch and everything just died, speedo froze to 25 mph, radio doesnt come on, no electrical power at all. the only thing that works is the headlights. i turn the switch and it looks just like theres no battery in the car. NOTHING works except for the headlights and rear running lights. i have not a clue what it could be. i check all the fuses under the dash and all r good. is there a main fuse or something? please if anyone knows what it could be, please feel free to reply, thanks

 

Most likely its you ignition switch. It could be the fuse box but most of the time when they go all at once its with a nice puff of smoke. If the ignition switch falls apart inside it is pretty uneventful. Just like turning off the key.

 

but the thing is, the hazard flashers doesnt even work, normaly even with the key off, the hazards should still work. mabey it could be computer?
