picked up an 88 iroc and it is using alot of gas it is a 305 tbi ...cleaned the throttle body...cat was clogged sraightened that mess out egr was clogged or very black and still the seems to that all the fuel is not burning

can you smell raw gas? Or do you see gas or what? if you smell it where does it smell like its coming from and when do you smell it like on start up or while driving or while sitting still?

 

yea i can smell the gas by the exhaust after i have it warming up for awhile there is a black sutty spot on the stones
