hi im new and my camaro starts but wont stay running unless you rev it at about 2500 rpms its the first year they had the computer controlled emissions crap so i was just wondering if anyone has had similar problems or knows something about the 229 motor thanks

 

Those early emission controlled cars were too complicated for their own good. Start off by taking a good look for vacuum leaks, damaged vacuum hoses, missing parts, and change plugs, wires & filters, just in case.
