69 camaro starting problem
Hi, My 69 camaro has a starting problem. Car has a 350, 4 speed. Car won't start unless I run a jumper wire to coil when cranking. Car turns over fine, runs fine. I measured a significant voltage drop (down to about 4 volts) when cranking. What died? I replaced voltage regulator. No go. Where do I go next? any help will be appreciated.

RE: 69 camaro starting problem
Ihad a new Pertronix which ran fine after installation. I repaced the coil, no change. I swapped out the distributor with an HEI I had taken off the car when I bought it. No change. I pulled the starter last night and had it checked today. it draws about 145 amps which is within specs. I will probably start gointg down the line from the small wire off the positive cable next and check voltage in and voltage out while cranking unless someone has a better idea. It's hard to do all this by myself. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
