willa gen1 327 fit into a 98 camaro under the stock hood??

Depending on the intake you run yes it might. You will need to trim around the cowl area. I am not going to question why you want to do this but just know that an LS1 will make a ton more power cheaper than an old school 327. I you are going to go carbed I would at least build a stroker small block, or Edelbrocke has a nice dual plane carb intake for the LS1 and MSD now has a system to fire it .

It will probably fit if you leave out the carburator or make a hole in the hood and make room for the distributor in the firewall. But why do this when the stock LS1 ia much better engine.
