Default 2000 firebird rims on 1984 camaro

Would i be able to fit 2000 Firebird stock rims on a 1984 Camaro?
Theyre both 5-4.75" but the camaro rims go deeper. does anyone know if i can?

[&:] unless im mistaken there is a couple inches of offset difference between the two and would venture to guess that the newer rims to older car swap will be a big no go kurt

The difference in offset between the two is about 1.5". You'll need Adapter Spacers, a minimum of 1" thick. Best thing to do is put the new wheels in place and measure how much you'll need.

[8D] anything can be done with shims, spacers, glue and duct tape. but one must question the safety and duability of such engineering changes. i know, i know its "just" a 1 inch +- shim but your asking twice as many parts to stay tight and safe with increased loads on the parts. call me old fashioned but one of my favorite mottos "KISS" Keep It Simple Stupid has helped fix and or avoid many a problem. me personaly id find some more appropriate rims for the application, but yes they can be made to fit. as we all know money can fix or make anything adapt to anything else

Check your local tire and wheel store or search summit or jegs.
