Default 1st oil change question

Ok, It is finally time for my Camaro's (1998 3.8 L)first oil change. what kind of oil do you guy recommend. The engine has 90K but there is 5k on the top-end rebuild. Should I go with that "high milage oil"? Also what brand of oil filter would do you use?

The power window on my passanger side seems to be slow. Is this the motor going out or does the track just need to be oiled or something? Do you guys lubricate things like door hinges and other stuff on a regular basis?

On a different subject, how do you get a picture in your "signature"?

I use "Wet and Wild Personal Lubricant"
Usualy the passenger window gets less use. It may just need some grease smeared on the guides and gear.
I think there is a place that says to upload a photo in signature in "my profile". I am not sure so I could be wrong.

After 9 years it is about time for first oil change. LOL
Try 10W30, if it burns oil go to 10W40 or some high milege stuff.

I'd say 10w30 Mobil 1 Synthetic.
I use AC Delco or K&N oil filters.

Create a signature in the My Profile section. Check the box that says to always include the signature in posts. To include a pic in your signature, type (image)link to your image here(/image) somewhere in the signature box - but instead of using parantheses like in my example, put image in brackets, like [ ]. Upload photos to photobucket or or imageshack. Then copy the link starting with http:// between the two image tags I just described. Using a pic for an avatar is easy. Just look in My Profile and you'll figure it out.

I am using Wal Mart Super Tech filters and Super Tech Full Synthetic oil -- works great, not pricey.
