A buddy of mine had his TBI 454 rebuilt, nothing crazy just bumped the compression upto 9.5, torquier cam, balanced, the hole nine yards $6 grand worth. it runs good but won't live up to it's full potential because the stock computer programming cant run the motor. It wont take much of a change before you have to get a tailored chip, especialy since you're doin a turbo, that turbo is going to require a much more aggressive fuel curve, depending on how big a turbo you install. The head work , headers, and trans work should'nt need a new chip, but, the cam might if you get to crazy, and the turbo will need some comp. work.
