I dont want you to feel too bad so I'll just let you know, I am disappointed in you too. there see, you arent alone. those seem like decent numbers to me. I am pretty sure they are better than I can do.

do the tune. ull be happy even if its not the problem. pcmforless is a good place. just got one there took two days to get it after i got them all the info on the car. u can redo for 6 months. so that would give u time for the gears if thats the problem and if not u wont have to commit the money to gears until u find the issue with the shift.

Is there a reason you have a shift light with an a4? As far as I know you can't even swap a 4l60 to a manual valve body.
You need a bigger stall. Must have one baby cam with that small of a stall, unless you're on the gas constantly while at a stop I'd figure the car would surge a ton. Mine did a little with a 3600 in it....

I'd get it on a dyno with a good tuner. MS4 is a big cam for no tune. I know, I ran an MS3 like that for a couple days and the car had a hard time idling for sure. Definately wasn't race ready.
I had this same issue with mine. Mine would only shift at certain times. It really pissed me off. That's when I went to a proshifted tranny, and then the TH400 finally. But I'm 100% sure it's a tune issue. I wish I would have known what I know now. Would have saved me a ton of $ from doing all that swapping out stuff.
