the premium is doing anything for you bud your egine dosent have high enough compression either way 15.7 is fully possible in a stock 3.8 thats what id be shooting for however you are correct about the exaught vrs gears thing

I dunno about the gas thing, but it does run better. Same with my friends firebird. The guy I got in the fight with about exhaust was claiming 2 second 60 foot times with an open diff. and stock size street tires. Oh, and I found that I can post up to 2 and it will work.

Full exhuast would bring you into low 15s - High 14s range.
Gears & LSD would bring you to about 15.4ish.
Both would give you 14.7 ish

For $450 the first thing you should do is a cat back exhuast & intake. Then headers, alm driveshaft, gears & LSD and cam.

If you are spinning that bad its not just your diff, you probably should get some new or better tyres and practice luanching more.

It's not the tires, they have good tread, and I'm spinning when I shift into second, and chirping when I go to third. I also have a madrel bent catback on it right now, with a turbo-style muffler. Very comparible to a flowmaster catback, almost the same actually. I'm on my way to the yard for the posi. I want to do the exhaust all at once, so it can be welded together, and I can't afford it yet, so I'm doing what I can afford. My other account still won't let me post, had to make another.
