Default musicman's first race!

Made it up to PIR finally. It was my first time drag racing. The first run I did was 16.032 in the 1/4 at 86.62 mph. After that, the clutch started clipping more, more than it was on the first pass. So that needs to be replaced now, and as a result, I went slower every pass after that. I made 5 runs tonight.

lol, on the way to the track, dad was saying "just take it easy and don't brake nothing" After a few runs, he said, "give it some gas for crying out loud!". Now he wants to built a rear-end for it, with a spool... and 4:11 gears He aslo wants to put headers on it, and a full exhaust, no cat no muffler. On race days, we'll just swap out rear ends, and keep my stock one for daily driving.

I didn't beat any cars tonight, but I kept on the bumper of a 90's supercharged thunderbird. My last race, I spun one tire through first, so my time was even slower.

Then about 8:30, lighting started going through the sky, and it was raining real hard. All in all, a fun night, and my first time drag racing!

oh, and that's the first pic I have with the silver strips on.

lol, yeah I hope so. But it's still a sixer, not exactly a rocket. Some gears should give it a little life.

I was blown away by a volkswagen tonight. This little ugly red thing, rugular 'ol tires, ugly paint, no fart can, no burnout. I thought "at least I'll catch something tonight". wrong. It was turbo charged, and ran a 14. lol, sleeper!
