Default How fast?? pro bracket

Hey,

trying to put together a car to run pro bracket at the track. I was thinking an 02' Z28 with some light mods:

KN CAI
HIgh flow lid
Hedman Torque step hedders
Hedman catless hedder-back exhaust
NOS GM LS1 EFI 125shot of nitrous w/electronic controller
and either the mickey drag radials or slicks...
msd ignition + wires and plugs, for the nitrous

maybe a crane cam to adapt with the nitrous

how fast will this take me in the 1/4 i was thinking low to mid 12's but i'm kinda new to the ls1 platform

WHy don't you just do a cam, gear, converter, headers and drag radials? The right combo will be good for high 11's

I'm tryin to keep this as street friendly as possible. a 4000 yank wouldn't be a great daily driver, even though i won;t be driving much in college. The gear maybe, i definetly got the hook-ups.

Whats good about the nitrous is you can leave the power at the track and not take it with you at all times, I know its the easy way out, but its the answer for what i'm trying to do .

Which cam would work good with that big of a shot of nitrous?

PS all i have to do is go faster than 13.99, which is easy, but i was shootin for low 12's...

My converter is very drivable, the 4L60E has a lock-up converter so unless your foot is in it, the converter locks and drives like stock. I am not agaist using nitrous at all, in fact I have a kit on my car right now, I just don't need it right now. As for a cam for spray I would just call TSP and ask what they would use, give them as much detail as possible.
