Default Hard day but new best.

Today was a horrible day at the track. Very hot and the track kind of sucked. Plus i was not able to run my slicks again since they are still hitting the caliber just by a hair this time.

Any way the last time we had the car out it was a little cooler she would run 11.8s and a freak 11.7 and 11.6
This time out it was a little bit hotter and for some reason my back brakes had no bit. And i mean none. This made it very hard to stand on the converter. My 3 runs on just meth and motor where right at 11.9 (the brakes and heat where a big factor) I then opened up the bottle the first 2 runs i was a little worried about traction so i sprayed the car around the 60 mark and picked got the car back to 11.7s on both runs.

On the 3rd run i sprayed off the line. And let me say HOLY CRAP even with a 35 shot boost came in hard and you could fill the nitrous. It resulted in a new best of 11.43 @ 117.71 and a 1.63.

All and all a very good day. I will be replacing the rear brake pads and getting some bite back in to them as well as triming down the brakes to fit the prostars. I think she will have no problem going 11.2s on a better day with the list above.

I hope this helps some one on here.
With out spray With spray past 60FT With spray off the line
11.9@114 1.8 11.7@116 1.8 11.4@117.7 1.63

This is still on the 60 trim and the stock bottom. Its only a matter of time but she will go tens or die trying

sounds like a good day, i bet if it was cooler and you had good brakes when you sprayed off the line you might be flirting with 10's

its still good that your nailing 11s with no slicks if you got the slicks put on and your brakes fixed with a good run it would be in 10s most likely

Well i found out why i have no rear brake bite. I looked under the car today to find a large wet slick of brake fluid under the car. Looks like the driver side rear brake line some how got nicked. No big deal its time for some new lines any way.

Its nice to take a little brake from time to time. I need to put a clutch in my truck and give it a tune up some time and i should clean up the bike and get it out on the road some time any way.
