GTI times
drag-times is not a valid source, too many bad slips out there, and too many BS'ed mods. we all know the average times for these cars. ls1's are low 13s in the quarter, mid-high 8s in the 1/8.theseother cars are running low 9s which isnt very fast at all. an 8.7 compared to a 9.1 in the 8th is a massive difference.

The numbers above are from STOCK stage 0 cobalts. Stage 2 adds about 40 horses if i am not mistaken.

here's from a roll, which is pretty accurate, most SS's can beat LT1s even from a Dig.

You are right about getting the LSD it is a option at any stage level. However stage 0 is still supercharged it is just the base level of the SC cobalt. Stage one is injectors and tune, stage 2 is injectors, tune, and pully.

I've raced multiple Cobalt SS's and I haven't been beat, even up at altitude where forced induction gets you "more." There could be some exceptional drivers out there, but I'm calling BS on the stock Cobalt SS being able to beat LT1's.

like CBR said, it is hard as hell to launch a SS/SC, i couldnt when i test drove one... and from what i hear, it's even more maticulous to launch than a LSx GTO..
