I am not real familiar with your location and I suppose that there are closer strips, but Maryland International Raceway is open all year (weather permitting), http://www.mirdrag.com/

My brother is an automotive engineer in Mich we went to milan this summer that is a really nice place also went to Waterford hills road course cool place; a shooting range and a road racing course in one if it had a drag strip I would have just stayed there 
. Also visited the Dart factory for them to check out some heads I bought. How is that woodward cruise, some of us might make the trip next year.

You need to come out to Byron in may for the UTI drag races. One of the teahcers is driving a 7 second 69 camaro, its sick. where u located at, im in Libertyville, so i was gonna go try great lakes, u been there?
