bench race.
ok, i've got a question here guys.
i got challenged to two different races. the first is against my buddy who has a 355 powered '68 Camaro, he says its around 340-350rwhp, with a Turbo 350 behind the 355, no weight reduction, but it's sitting on 265 rear tires (Nitto DR's).
the second is against my friend Nick who repaired my Olds. he's got a '95 GT with full exhaust, it's an auto, and he's on DR's with a little 75 shot. he's gone a best of 12.72@109mph on the spray.
now the RS, when it's done, will be running a 377 small block with Vortec heads, with a 700R4 auto (w/ reverse manual valvebody), 2.73 posi gears, and be on 255 street tires. i'm figuring around 400bhp from my engine and 430-450btq.
any input on what to expect from these two???

For the 68 your first gear in the 700R is going to be a lot stronger then the TH350. However that is some low gearing so it might not help you as much. Also a lot is going to come down to converter and traction as well.
