Default Will my intake mani still fit..?

So straight to the point.lol! It's a 94 camaro lt. I have to mill the heads down 0.015.. They warped out after some serious overheating. My machinist is worried that the intake mani might not bolt up and line up. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do I need to worry about it?

You will find out for sure when you put the parts together. If the intake manifold won't line up, the machinist can shave it so it will fit.

The intake will be sitting a little higher to the heads. You won't know if it's too high until you drop it in place and go to put the bolts in. Also wouldn't hurt to check at the end with a feeler gauge where the intake meets the head, to see that the upper and lower gap is close to the same. I've gotten by with an .010 head shave without needing to shave the intake. Never tried more than that, you might luck out.

lol, I hope! I've been researching this for a couple hours now and it's not really getting me anywhere. alot of people have had to shave they're intake manifolds.. but all of the guys that I've read about doing this have had massive mill jobs or "0" decked blocks. I hope I have no problems at this point

.015 I would consider to be within service limits, you can make it up with the head gasket...go with a thicker gasket if you are really worried. They also make shims that go on between the block and the gasket for those heads that have needed a serious shaving. Fifteen thousandths isn't a great deal to shave off anyway... I am certain it will be fine. The intake ports wont be off that much, the gasket will block more than 015.
