I was thinking about swaping out a v6 to a 350 v8. I was wondering how hard and how technical this would be. I need some advise weather to do this or not. My camaro is not a daily driver so time off the road really does not matter. If anyone can help me please message me back.

Hey everybody im new to this forum so bear with me. I have a 1993 Camaro 3.4L and i want to upgrade it to a V8. What all will i need? i was thinking just the engine, the transmission, the wiring harness, computer chip, and that was about it i thought. Thanks.

 

well if you can find the engine,tranny,computer....then your set you can swap it out

 

Don't forget motor mounts, tranny mounts, all the various sensors, intake, exhaust, any engine periferals, etc. The list goes on man, if you want a car with a V8, save your pennies and shop around until you find a good deal, sell your car to help pay for the new one, you'll put a lot of time and money into an engine swap.
