I run the Twisted Wedge heads on my 355 that is currently in my 82 Z-28 and I have not had any issues with them and I like the way they woke up my engine when I installed them 8 years ago. I am getting the parts together to build a 400 and these heads are going on it with a change in valve springs to the Comp Beehive springs to go with the Trick Flow Hydraulic roller camshaft. The twisted wedge heads will have canted valves similar to a big block. I have read a lot of posts about the heads design problems and maybe that is why they don't make them any longer but I still like them and part of the problem may be the lack of getting the geometry correct when installing these heads, JMO though.

 

I kinda figured out that trickflow doesn't make them anymore after going to there site to get information on them. Looks like I will have them looked at when I drop the engine off at the shop. I will have a sit down with them to see what we can come up with - which cam, pistons, crank, cast or forged,etc,etc.I know that they are not cheap and if they are still in good shape they will go back on the rebuilt motor. I have a little bit until I'm back home, but I'm looking forward to it. Also made my mind up on the forged internals.
