Default RE: Trickflow Question

I run the Twisted Wedge heads on my 355 that is currently in my 82 Z-28 and I have not had any issues with them and I like the way they woke up my engine when I installed them 8 years ago. I am getting the parts together to build a 400 and these heads are going on it with a change in valve springs to the Comp Beehive springs to go with the Trick Flow Hydraulic roller camshaft. The twisted wedge heads will have canted valves similar to a big block. I have read a lot of posts about the heads design problems and maybe that is why they don't make them any longer but I still like them and part of the problem may be the lack of getting the geometry correct when installing these heads, JMO though.

Default RE: Trickflow Question

I kinda figured out that trickflow doesn't make them anymore after going to there site to get information on them. Looks like I will have them looked at when I drop the engine off at the shop. I will have a sit down with them to see what we can come up with - which cam, pistons, crank, cast or forged, etc, etc.I know that they are not cheap and if they are still in good shape they will go back on the rebuilt motor. I have a little bit until I'm back home, but I'm looking forward to it. Also made my mind up on the forged internals.
