My grandpa is so cool. So i am 16 and he closed down his racing engine shop and he gave me a set of $10,000 racing heads but the thing is i don't an engien so i have a set of really nice racing heads, and no they are not for sale. I am trying to get some of the bored and stroked 350 blocks from him too. But yeah i have the greatest grandpa.

Good racing heads are not cheap, medium level sprint car guys (local) are running $30000 to $40000 engines. 12 degree titanium equipped professionally ported/flowed race heads $10,000 is probably close. I wish my grandfather gave me his race cars and stuff, I think the kid is lucky.

 

Some very nice, 18 degree, professionaly ported, aluminum racing heads. they have over sized custom made titanuim, with a bit of tugsten, valves and tight combustion chambers. I love these heads i used one like them on a differnet engine i built for one of the late model dirt track guys and it pulled just shy of 650hp but then the guy blew it up, he didn't adjust his carb to the new bigger engine and blew a hole in every piston. Yeah my grandpa is so cool.

 

Yeah, those valves cost about $ 120 each. Pro head porting can run into the many thousands of dollars. Yes You can spend $10K + on a set of heads.
