Default Rear Main Seal for my 355cid.

I had th mains aline bored on this 355sb.Now there seems to be some question on what rear main seal to use. Hoping to use the best one I can . But When I ck. on line ( Summit Racing) their on line catalog. Were itlists check for application ,their FEL-PRO-FPP2912 Proformance Sealindicates no aline bore mains. I know when you aline bore the mains that you open upthe stock dimensions. So what rear seal do I use

rat 454 it's a 2 piece block. But I should have said aline honed ,not bored. fact the mach. shop said that there wasn't thatmuch done .that it only needed a touch up. took longer settting up the block then honing the mains . one pass on the mains.

No special seal needed. A regular seal will be fine.I've cut a couple thousands out of the rear main journals and had no problems with using the stock seal.

Use the regular seal. No problems at all. We do them every day.
