possible vat problem
hey so i drove home last nite everything was fine i went to start today and nothing no click no starter engaging no security light my first thot was check fuses so i did second thot was disconnect battery wait and reconnect battery nope nothing next thot was bypass vat system cut the two white wires in the orange sleeve resister said 7.50 ohms went to store only had a 10 ohm great took it home figured it mite work probly not tho nope still dead ugh strong battery no security light any ideas lol

you need to find the resistance of the "chip" in the key and use that size resistor in the vats... take a look at the starter one day i drove the car fine no problem starting then i drove to the city (about 20 miles) and couldnt start the car it did nothing no click... thankfully i had a 5 speed and was able to pop start it got it home and the solenoid broke off the starter... oddest thing ive ever seen

hey i wanna make sure im doing this write dont show me the picture of vat system but just answer this one side of the resistor gets both the white wires twisted on it and other side gets the purple and white wire twisted on it correct or is it one purple one sis one white other side and the two whites coming out of the orange dont get used
